This incredibly gratifying short play is wonderfully easy to produce. It is Christmastime, but Don and Jill McDaniel are more occupied with the task of moving into their new apartment and getting settled quickly before their ten-year high school reunion the next week. (Who schedules reunions for the week after Christmas?!)

This is a rich story of the young couple, a handyman and a cleaning woman from Saudi Arabia, and a small tapestry that ties all their lives together even if they don t know it. Fate, a bit of luck, and the belief that those who do for others deserve that gift in return conspire to join forces and lead the audience to an ending that is sure to warm their hearts. Though the setting is Christmastime, this play lends itself to year-round performances as it reminds us of the importance of love, life, and the simple joy of doing for others.
